The SUN-6K-SG04LP1-AU is a 6 kW single-phase hybrid inverter for homes combining solar with a compatible 40–60 V battery. It can manage solar generation, battery charging and household power in one unit, with an LCD for checking the system locally. Choose this model by its power rating, supply phase and battery voltage class. Battery capacity is a separate choice: a 5 kW inverter does not automatically mean a 5 kWh battery.
Solar and batteries, together
A 6 kW AC output and separate low-voltage battery connection give you a foundation for a home storage system. Choose storage capacity to suit your energy use.
Two independent solar trackers
Two MPPTs allow the installer to design two solar strings independently, useful where suitable roof areas face different directions. Each tracker accepts one string in this document revision.
Quiet, compact wall installation
A 17 kg IP65 cabinet keeps the unit compact. The 6 kW model uses intelligent air cooling; check the clearances and siting requirements in the manual.

What is the difference between kW and kWh?
6 kW describes the inverter’s power rating. Battery storage is measured in kWh. For example, battery capacity and battery output limits both matter when designing how long selected appliances can run.
Is the larger PV access figure the same as PV input power?
No. Deye lists maximum PV access power separately from maximum PV input power. Both figures are shown in the table; panel string sizing must also meet voltage, current and temperature limits.
Does this include batteries?
This page is for the inverter. Batteries, bases, cabling and installation are quoted separately unless Everest explicitly includes them in your system quotation.
Will it run my whole house during a blackout?
Backup capability is not a promise that every appliance can run at once. Your installer must check starting loads, backup circuits, battery output and the inverter’s limits.

Nothing is charged until you pay the link. Delivery is free on inverter or battery orders and quoted for parts-only orders. Any installation is arranged separately.
