The SUN-8K-SG05LP1-AU is Everest’s 8 kW single-phase hybrid inverter option for a low-voltage battery system. It brings solar generation and battery storage together, so a system can be designed around when your household needs electricity. Choose this model by its power rating, supply phase and battery voltage class. Battery capacity is a separate choice: a 5 kW inverter does not automatically mean a 5 kWh battery.

Use your solar after sunset

A compatible battery lets you keep energy for later. The inverter manages the flow between your solar panels, battery, home and grid.

A path for existing solar

AC coupling can integrate an existing solar system. Everest can assess your current inverter, metering and connection arrangement.

Set your charging schedule

Six charging and discharging periods let the installer configure battery use around your household routine and electricity tariff.

Plan backup around your home

A correctly designed backup circuit can supply selected loads during an outage. Available power depends on the inverter, batteries and installation.

Does this include batteries?

This page is for the inverter. Batteries, bases, cabling and installation are quoted separately unless Everest explicitly includes them in your system quotation.

Will it run my whole house during a blackout?

Backup capability is not a promise that every appliance can run at once. Your installer must check starting loads, backup circuits, battery output and the inverter’s limits.

Can I order this on its own?
